Day 1:
Hanoi - Cocly - Sapa (B, L,
D)
The first night, guide and car pick you up from your
hotel in
Hanoi
, transfer to Hanoi Station for LC5 Train, soft sleeper, AC. Overnight
on train.
Picked up from Laocai Train Station on Tuesday
morning (Can Cau Market is on every Tuesday). You take 2 hour drive to
Cocly Market along border gate with
China
, passing many poor and isolated villages, amazing mountains, rice and
maize fields. 2 hours to explore this lovely market. Another 2 hours to
do the boat trip down stream on
Chay
River
. You will see wonderful landscape by riversides and explore ethnic
villages. Car to Sapa, short break in Lao Cai by the border gate with
China (where the Red
- River runs to
Vietnam
and a nice temple), car to Sapa. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Ham Rong Mount- Silver Waterfall (B. L. D)
-In the morning, you visit Hamrong (Dragon raw) to
see the whole fantastic view of the town, the paddy rice fields... on
top of this mountain, you also see beautiful orchard, orchird gardens,
Cultural Village with the traditional stilt house of the Tay people,
collection of Sapa pictures (past and present), music and dance
performances of the ethnic minorities in Sapa, it is special when
walking a little up to touch the cloud and see nice rocks with strange
shapes like Dragon raw.
In the afternoon, your guide takes you to one of the
most beautiful waterfalls in Sapa (Silver Waterfall), and a little
further up you will be on top of
Tram
ton
Pass
where we call "Heaven Gate". You will see long and large valley on one
side and high mountains on the other side of which the Fanxifan is the
highest mountains in
Indochinaa , amazing and breathtaking
view.
The rest of the day at leisure, free to explore the
town)
Overnight in hotell
Day 3: Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van- Hanoi (B. L. D)
After breakfast, our guide and jeep/minivan
will take you
Lao
Chai
Village
(village of the Black H'mong) from here you leave your jeep and walk
down to Muonghoa Stream, crossing a suspension bridge, walking through
the village and amazing terraced rice paddy fields. It is a good time to
learn about culture, life style... of people here.
